Baby Milestones
We have 2 options for baby Milestones! (3, 6, or 9 month)
$125 Individual Session
These mini sessions are 20 minute sessions and include 3 images chosen , by you, out of your gallery and an 8x10 or 2 5x7 prints. They are meant to showcase any milestones that your baby is at, at the time of the session. They are intended for 3 , 6 or 9 months of age but can be done anytime before the one year birthday.
*$125 retainer is required to book with no balance due at the time of the session

$325 Milestone Package (discounted)
This package includes 3 separate mini sessions (3 , 6 and 9 months), or any milestone that you choose before the one year birthday. These are 20 minutes in length each and 3 images per milestone session. Also includes one 8x10 print (or 2 5x7 prints or the same image) per mini session.
This package MUST be paid in full at the time of booking to get the $50 discount.

One year/cake smash and splash
$199-1 year birthday session (no cake smash or splish splash bath)
Simple is your jam? No problem! These are portrait sessions only and include the use of simple backdrops, 10 images of your choice, and the option to buy more if available. Also includes one 8x10 print.
$375-1 Year Cake Smash Session
These special sessions are reserved for babies who have made their first trip around the sun! We can do simple or ultra themed sessions and anywhere in between. (possible upcharge for ultra themed)
Simple is your jam? No problem! Maybe you like a simple backdrop or you love 80's popstar themes. Maybe you want a dinosaur or career theme. We got you covered! Maybe a cake smash isn't your thing? Go for a themed session like pasta, pizza, fruit, Chick fil la, the options are endless!
These sessions include 25 fully edited images chosen from your gallery and a $50 print credit. These require a $150 non-refundable retainer to hold your date, due to the nature of the planning that goes into these sessions. Balance due 1 week before session date. If applicable, you may purchase more digital images-see a la carte tab. You may also order product through me at a discounted price-see a la carte tab.
For the cake smash portion-the cake should be provided by the client. If you want a themed or special cake, use your baker of choice. Please make sure that your baker does not put any small toys or fondant pieces that could be a choking hazard OR dowel rods to keep the cake together. Otherwise, the cake in the photo to the left was bought at Wal-Mart for under $5. PLEASE make sure you let us know if there are ANY allergies to take in to consideration. SAFETY is FIRST always.
**We can use the bakery near my studio for around $30-50 depends on the bakery's prices-expense paid by client.
For the Splish Splash Portion -Please let me know if there are any skin allergies! We do use a gentle baby bath. I have multiple baths and tubs to choose from!

Remember that this is a new environment for babies. They can sometimes be anxious but will usually settle after a few minutes. They are however, very unpredictable, and those can sometimes be the best photos! Sometimes they don't settle, and that is OK we can still get great photos! I cannot refund any retainers as a result of a baby's mood. I am always more than willing to work around naptimes. I have outfits to choose from or bring your own! I love when clients sent me photos of the clothing they plan to use, this helps my planning A LOT! You are welcome to send me screenshots for inspiration. You are welcome to bring anyone you would like to assist, I will also have an assistant, if needed. If possible, please keep guests to a minimum. It is always a fun session but can be chaotic! If it seems that baby isn't settling because of chaos, please give me time to calm, get to know and play with the baby. If too many people are getting baby's attention, I can't get it. And we could end up with little to no images where baby is actually looking at the camera. Otherwise, I welcome the help! Especially by his/her favorite person in the world :)
It is normal and common for children to feel overwhelmed, nervous, scared and shy at times during a photo session. Even if it seems opposite of their personality!
We will try our best to get the best smiles and help their true personality to shine through. Sometimes the first bit of the session will be playing and just trying to get comfortable with each other. And the (new to them) environment. These are only tips and you know your child the best and what is best for him/her.
Tip #1 If your child is old enough to understand and photo sessions are new to them, explain before the session that we are going to have fun and play! Talk about me as if I am a friend and please make sure you use my name (Christel) often during these talks. Familiarity is key!
Tip #2 Try to get plenty of rest the night before, this includes the parent bringing them! And if possible make sure your child has a full tummy. We are all happier with food! Try to avoid food that will stain their teeth (red, blue orange drinks or candy). This can be very hard to edit out and if requested, may have to be sent off to be fixed (at clients expense)
Tip #3 Check those fingers and nails! My kids seem to always find markers or mud right before I photograph them. EVERY.SINGL.TIME
Tip #4 Rewards! I won't judge you if you want to reward your child and use it as bribery. I usually try to keep a few things handy for rewards-with permission from the parent.
