$199 Birthday sessions
These sessions can be any birthday! (See 'Baby Milestones/1 Year Cake Smash' under sessions tab for cake smash info) These include a session fee, 10 images of your choice of available images offered in your gallery and a free 8x10 or 2 5x7 prints.
Let's celebrate! All age 1-110are welcomed!
These can be done in studio or outdoors. You choice! Outdoor location can be anywhere in St Charles, Lincoln or Warren counties!
$150 retainer due at the time of booking to hold your date-with no balance due the day of your session
*option to purchase more images -if available
*option to purchase printed products from me to ensure proper color
**any permits that are required or other location expenses-client is responsible for that amount to be paid before session also
Tips for children
It is normal and common for children to feel overwhelmed, nervous, scared and shy at times during a photo session. Even if it seems opposite of their personality!
We will try our best to get the best smiles and help their true personality to shine through. Sometimes the first bit of the session will be playing and just trying to get comfortable with each other. And the (new to them) environment. These are only tips and you know your child the best and what is best for him/her.
Tip #1 If your child is old enough to understand and photo sessions are new to them, explain before the session that we are going to have fun and play! Talk about me as if I am a friend and please make sure you use my name (Christel) often during these talks. Familiarity is key!
Tip #2 Try to get plenty of rest the night before, this includes the parent bringing them! And if possible make sure your child has a full tummy. We are all happier with food! Try to avoid food that will stain their teeth (red, blue orange drinks or candy). This can be very hard to edit out and if requested, may have to be sent off to be fixed (at clients expense)
Tip #3 Check those fingers and nails! My kids seem to always find markers or mud right before I photograph them. EVERY.SINGL.TIME
Tip #4 Rewards! I won't judge you if you want to reward your child and use it as bribery. I usually try to keep a few things handy for rewards-with permission from the parent.
